St Mary Magdalen’s Church

The Parish Church in the village of Ripley, Surrey

WORSHIP

The Sunday Services are at the heart of our Church life. As we gather, Sunday by Sunday, we learn to grow in faith together, we support one another in prayer, and we are strengthened by the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Every Weekday Morning Prayer is said at 9am. This service is a quiet start to the day - it symbolises our commitment to offer every day of our lives and all that we do to God.
On major Saints Days there is usually a celebration of Holy Communion instead of Morning Prayer.

Special Services are held from time to time. These may be part of our celebration of a special time of year such as Holy Week or they may be organised for our village schools.

For Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals please see the information on our Occasional Offices page.

This photograph was taken during our most recent Flower Festival. It shows the High Altar with our new white frontal which carries a picture of St Mary Magdalen. The symbolic flowers which are also on the Altar cloth echo the design of the string course which runs around the chancel at about shoulder height.
