Can I come to a Communion Service?

The quick and easy answer is “Of course you can!” Every service we hold is open to anyone and at every service the people present will be a mixture of those who have been coming to Church for ages and others who have less experience of Church life.

Holy Communion is the special service at which we seek special blessing from God, remembering the meal that Jesus shared with his disciples before he was arrested and crucified. We share bread and wine together remembering what Jesus told his followers about his body being broken and his blood being shed.

It is possible to get a great deal out of our communion services whether or not you actually share the bread and wine.

You are welcome and will feel comfortable in Church whether or not you are used to sharing communion. If you come to feel you would like to share communion then please talk to the Vicar about this.
